Pre wedding photography – Tom and Rachel Almshoebury Farm

I am loving the sun right now. As a photographer the sun can work against you sometimes almost as much as for you. This time of year is just perfect though. One of my favorite things it to have a shoot late in the afternoon when the sun is low and beautifully warm and soft. Its great. Our shoot with Tom and Rachel was no exception. After sitting down with a cup of tea and chatting through some of the details for their wedding next month we began the shoot. We started at Almshoebury farm in St Ippolyts. This is where they are going to be having their reception and it is fantastic. The place is owned by Rachel’s family so we got to basically go wherever we wanted to go. This place is fantastic, it is a working farm but doubles up as the HQ of the family wedding catering and events company. This was actually how we got in contact with Tom and Rachel initially as I am using them for my wedding later this year. Anyway, enough about me.

Back to the shoot, oh yes Almshoebry farm. This place is a dream for Ben and me, it has got machinery and cars and alsorts of random stuff all over the place. There was a bright pink threshing machine from way back when, which I could have photographed all day, it was fascinating.

Just looking through the photos again, as I have just done, it reminded me how great Tom and Rachel were. They just had to look at each other and their faces lit up, they seem so in love and their smiles were infectious. Looking forward to more of the same at the wedding.
